He said he dismissed a higher offer because it included plans to quickly take Portillo's public; he worried the firm would make hasty changes to try and grow too quickly.
Portillo's revenue per store is unheard of in fast-food or fast-casual restaurants.
An average Mc Donald's in the United States, for example, brings in nearly 900.5 million in annual revenue.
